Thoughtful this entire year I have really enjoyed Photography class with Ms.Haggerty. We have done many projects that I have really enjoyed and learned a lot from. My favorite project that we did was the light painting project. I liked this project because it was really different and really fun to create them. This was a project that required a lot of teamwork and I liked how we worked together as a class. Also there was a lot of freedom with this project and we could create what ever we wanted with the light. The project that I learned and developed the most from was the gradient paining. I think this because it was the project that I spent the most time on and I put the most work in to. I feel that this project required a variety of different skills and I liked how we needed to use various skill to create our final product. There were many different projects that we used skills and techniques from prior projects. For example photoshop was used in many projects that we did. Projects that used photoshop is twelve days of photoshop and our surreal image. Through out this class I feel I grew as an artist greatly and I leaned many new skills and techniques that I can use in the future. I think the projects that reflect me as an artist is my photo ones that I took with my camera. I think this because all of my pictures are of things in my life. For example my first one ever was a picture of my lucky pin I wear to skating competitions and my second one is a special place to me because it was the I went to on my last vacation with my family. Overall I really liked this class and I really learned a lot. Ms.Haggerty is a great teacher and the kids in the following years will have a good time in her class.
This was a very fun project we did in class. Light paining is a project that requires a lot of team work. Ms.Haggerty took the pictures. To do this she kept the shutter open throughout the entire time we made the image. To make the image we used out phone flashlights and glow sticks to draw with. While the shutter on the camera was kept open we simply moved the type of light we had (flashlight or glow stick) and the camera captured out drawings.
